What is it: Paddle your canoe or kayak into the setting sun, grab dinner or dessert and enjoy a warm camp fire upon our return to Heavners.
Details: We will launch our boats from Heavner Canoe and Kayak Rental.  From there we will make our journey to Central park in Milford.  Once we arrive at the park, we can stretch our legs and grab dinner or dessert, right in downtown Milford, just a short walk away. Paddlers also have the option of bringing their own dinner, desserts or snacks and picnic right in the park itself. Specific dining location(s) will be discussed prior to boat launch

These are a lot of fun. You start at Heavner’s launch then paddle into Fenton and find a place down town to eat. All the boats are left sitting in a park along the river. There are a lot of restaurants in Fenton to choose from. The return trip can be quite dark, even though it is on a night of a full moon. Sometimes there are clouds and / or fog. You definitely want a headlamp. A light of some sort is required by law. If you don’t have a life vest, Heavner’s will rent one to you. That is also a requirement.
